I have called every auto store, they are all closed except autozone, and they dont have #$%.

I have no spark.
Postitive wire on coil is 12.8V

test light on negative side to ground is flashig while the engine is cranking (compu fire is working)

crank engine with coil wire to ground (NO SPARK)

I am certain, my coil just decided to die

Cant a regular 12v coil work for the mean time? Auto stores have to be closed by now, though.

Probably cheaper if you have the car towed rather than the city as they will charge you, fine you, and charge you for storage.

I got a used coil from Tony, it runs like a champ. Thanks guys






Yes, any 12v coil.

I went to advance auto, auto zone, and another.

NOBODY stocks a plain old 12v coil.
They even let me behind the counter and i opened every box, they have coils that look like a ray gun, huge rectangles with connections everywhwere, small blocks with plugs and prongs all over, craziest shit i ever did see.

Unbelieveable.

Bet they have plenty of floor mats, wax, and blingy chome covers for everything though. About the only usefull parts i can find at "auto parts" stores these days are wiper blades and light bulbs.
