My father was chassis foreman at Ford Motor Company next to Atlanta Airport for 20 years. It has since been torn down and the U.S. Porsche Headquarters is going to built there. It’ll even include a track that cuts that through the heart of the building so that visitors can “feel, see, hear and experience the essence of the Porsche driving experience." They are going to change Henry Ford II Avenue to be renamed Ferdinand Porsche Avenue!

I took some pictures the last time I was down there. When I spoke to someone at PCNA, they said ground breaking won't happen until early next year.

I am glad they are going with a brown field site, as I've seen way too much pristine farm and woodland cut down when existing unpolluted brown field sites are nearby.
