Organizing and cleaning the garage and found these two clutch discs; a 4 spring and a 6 spring. Bought the 6 spring disc from GPR at their sale along with a pressure plate.

What's the difference between the two and which one should I keep for my '75 ?

Just my. $.02 but I would keep the 6 spring. It makes the clutch less heavy, or at least in my case, if I'm remembering right 914's came stock with 4 spring clutches.

6 spring looks like every other clutch that I've ever installed.

IIRC. . . the 6 spring disc is a 911. . also used in 914-6, interchanges with the stock 914 4 spring disc.

The early /4s used a 4 spring clutch disc. The 2.0L used the 6 spring along with the 914/6.

The difference .... supposedly the take up (clutch engagement) is smoother with the six spring. That's it.

I believe all clutch replacement packages are 6 spring now.
