Is there any decent & cheap projects near southeast PA ? WTB I need something to do. I'd be looking in the $500-$1,000 range.

"Decent & cheap" and "$500-$1,000" are mutually exclusive these days!

Parts cars on their lest legs (or longs ) are averaging $500+

For a reasonably solid project you may need to spend a little more!

Whats the going rate for a project that can also be driven ?

IMHO you are looking at $1500 to $2000 at a minimum to get into a "decent" running car. Of course, you might get lucky and find one for less

What kind of project are you looking for? I've got a very nice roller that needs a coat of paint, but is great on rust. Let me know.

I got a 1975 914 1.8 fuel injection.

Not running, starting to rust, faded paint, decent interior though.

I am near Johnstown/Altoona if you are interested, let me know.

I always wanted to take the time to fix it up, but reality has set in and I will sell it soon.
