Hey guys,

I'm not up to date on the latest developments on our WCC05, so I need your help laying out the online form. You can take a peek at the FFC form here. Also, what email addresses do you want the forms sent to?

Happy to lend a hand!

Looks good Dan. I'll start thinking about what specific info I'll need to the track event. Thanks for your help.

Umm....yea, I noticed it doesn't look as nice as the other one....Maybe Jeroen implemented some rules to restrict people typing HTML into posts? huh.gif confused24.gif

I PM'd him.

It looks all pretty here.

Dan, Super smilie_pokal.gif

Rather than try to edit your html (I really suck at that) Could you change "racing your 914" to "Going to the Track?"

We're not restricting to just 914's there, and trying to avoid the 'R' word.

Add "Number of guests you are bringing" and in bold under hotel info: YOU MUST MAKE YOUR OWN RESERVATIONS!

Under shirts, # extra and size(s)

Haven't hear from Andy (Drew) on other info he may want for track stuff

Not set up on Paypal, can we just tell them to print and mail?

Print and return with your check to

The Howard Agency

BTW. did you just happen to do this by telepathy or see the other post??? ohmy.gif

Naw, I just saw my astrologer this afternoon....heh.

It was mostly already done. I just tweaked it a little when I noticed the other thread.

I made your requested changes. Let me know what you think.
Though using the computer to both manage the registrations and accumulate the payments may make things a lot easier for you. Up to you though boss. biggrin.gif

What is the cost for extra shirts?

Is there an extra cost for guests?

Can anybody just show up at some of the events?

Last year there was discussion and a few ruffled feathers on this topic.
How do we keep people from crashing our party?

Shirts? Figure to order extras based on # of people asking for extras. whatever they cost plus a little for the kids. Can always sell them later I hope.

Guests? If they stay at the hotel(s) listed breakfast is free. Only cost to us would be at BBQ. Figure we can handle if not too many, but may have to charge something if we get overwhelmed.

Renting track for the day without add'l cost per car or driver.

Crashers? We'll just call security (slits and zois) and have them insult the scoundrels to death.

I've really tried to hold this to one entry fee regardless of which events each entrant attends. Out $$ will be spent on goodies, meals and renting track. Total track cost ~ $3000. $30 credit if they don't go to track? Think it will make a difference?
VegasRacer
I agree with you Howard. I am just playing devils advocate. One fee should cover everything. A few extra mouths to feed at the BBQ should not be a problem.

Most people will probably have 1 guest (our cars are 2 seaters). If someone (like Rich last year) pays to bring their entire family, the least we can do is make sure they all get a shirt.

I don't see any reason to rebate people who don't do the track part of the event.
Didn't we already decide any extra $'s would be donated to charity?
Rule #1. We have to cover our ass. We don't have any funds other than registrations.
On the other end - maybe if we get enough sponsors lined up we can buy dinner Sunday night or add some other extras.
drew365
For the time being I don't think there's anything concerning the track event that needs to be included on the entry form. I'll have to prepare a separate sheet of requirements and info that they can download. I was thinking of putting under " Are you coming to the track"
a line that asked "Do you have a helmet?". But I feel that anyone that wants to go on the track will have to be responsible for getting their own helmet. It would be a mess trying to scrounge up extras in the right sizes. So bottom line is, the entry form looks good, maybe line up the name of the hotels and the boxes a little better.
Howard
Andy, OK if we just add 'helmet required'? SA?

If you want to add that to the registration page that's fine. It will be covered on the track info and requirements sheet I put together also. Yes we should stick to SA helmets.
VegasRacer
Do the helmets have to be SA2000?
Will we accept SA1995? (some race groups will, some will not)
The SA2005 will not be available until the end of next year.

For PCA drivers ed events you have to have a fire extinguisher (or fire system) mounted in the car. EVERY 914 should have one whether they ever plan to drive on a track or not. Should we require / strongly suggest that everybody have one?

What about long sleeve shirts? Some groups require it?
drew365
John; I'll address all those issues with an info sheet. They don't need to be on the registration form. As for helmets I feel we'll be okay with SA1995. Yes, long sleeve shirt, long pants, socks and shoes will be required. No beach attire on the track. My biggest concern is guys preparing their car properly, especially loose batteries, poor brakes and worn wheel bearings. I don't want to turn anyone away at the track so we'll have to make sure to impress everyone ahead of time. I'll need help to tech the cars, maybe you can join in.

Tech, timing, instructing . . . . what ever you need. I'll be glad to help.
