hi folks, I just came accross this periode pics of an unknown (at least to me) 914-6 race car
I'm told it was raced in Belgium (and other European countries) in the early 70ies
probably it sold to the USA long time ago, so maybe anybody knows it?

there are some things that might help identify it:
non-factory fender flares
non-factory front valance
only one hood-hold-down front and rear
Porsche emblem on front hood
standard engine lid (non-GT)
standard chrome rear bumper (early version => model year '70)
radio antenna mounted along the A-column
2-pipes GT muffler

any info appreceated beerchug.gif

Kinda cool looking with the minilites in the rear strange flares?

Found this about Belgian owner/driver Jean Pierre Gaban, but no mention of a 914... mainly 911s.

nope - both are known

the 1st car is driven by Christian Jörgensen (Flensburg, Germany)
the 2nd one is the "Black Forest" race car - raced in Germany back in the 70ies, ended up in the states

both are pretty different in the mentioned details ...

well, I think that J.P. Gaban might be the owner of the racing team idea.gif
probably he prefered driving himself the 911 with bigger engines ...
