A while ago I decided to buy an original owners booklet to go with my '76, which came without. So I bought one on ebay. I now realize that I should at least make an attempt to find out if the car still exists and get the original book back to the owner. Not looking to sell, just wanting to get the two reunited if possible.

Very very top right hand corner, sort of subtle but it's under "914 Info" and then "Member VIN Database" on the page it takes you to. Seems like a guy in Spain bought that car.

I do not know what you mean by "last known owner". I am assuming you are referring to last U.S. owner; otherwise, the person in Spain is the last owner of record. Maybe through him you can trace.

The last info on the car comes from "dayadaraus" whose last activity was 10 July 2012 at 0241pm. Also reported on the list is the scarlet red color and chassis #15009 for the car. It looks like the car is in Spain and still in existance.
