I probably see 1 or 2 recently purchased 914's a month that the owners would have been way better off buying this car. Priced right and described well.
Porsche 914 1972 1.7 $4100. This is a very solid car with no previous crash damage and exceptional chassis condition. The white paint over the original silver is poor but presentable. In good overall driving condition but the 1.7 engine has several oil leaks and needs to have the cooling fins and oil cooler cleaned. The trunks and engine compartment have not been painted so a return to the original color would be easy. The chassis is not perfect but no major rust and 914’s this solid are definitely rare. Also available is a good running, fuel injected 2.0 engine and transaxle with all sideshift conversion parts for an additional $800.
