[s]I currently have a Bursch turbo muffler and am looking to try out a cherry bomb / Glass pack muffler form my 1974 1.8 liter. I plan on keeping my Stainless Heater / exchangers.

Not knowing if I will like it. I am trying to avoiding spending the money on buying new / mint condition.

I was thinking of just switching the turbo muffler out on mine to a cherry bomb but the turbo has an off set whereas the cherry bombs are straight and it isn't worth the effort or money for custom pipe work.

Attached is somewhat a pic of what I am interested in.

Thanks,

Pete

I have one that needs minor repair on the tip ( a litle rust ) everywhere else is clean and perfect. Let me know if you need it and I will send some pics.

Pete,

I have a custom dual cherry bomb exhaust that was on my 2.0 for a little bit.
It needs the support retacked back on and and could use a coat of paint on the non-cherry bomb pieces.
Here is an old picture.

I am ignorant to the difference between 2.0 liter and 1.8 liter exhaust. Will it bolt up?

I don't mind fab-ing up and welding a bracket as long as the price reflects the need.
Also, I am not sure what to do about the rear valance. I am currently using a left notch.

Thoughts,
Pete

I didn't think so. But thought it best to confirm in forum for future education etc.

I actually have that exact setup on my car. Made it from an old Bursch.

This was welded together in gas. The MIG was broken at the time. It is highly modifiable from the current setup. About 4/5 years old and been sitting on a shelf for the last 3.
