Has anyone ever swapped a silver dot Tach needle onto a non silver dot later tach......Before I start butchering perfectly good Tachs!

I think they would interchange, but getting the silver needle exactly where the old one is will be tough. It has to be perfect or the mph will be off.

lots of cheap tachs for sale with and without the dot. I'm sure someone here can help.

We can always rip apart the 6 that i have.
