Hello World!

My teener has the center console with the leather shift boot. I recently acquired a rubber shift boot for the 914.

Will the rubber shift boot install/fit on nicely even with the console? If so has anyone done this before and have pics? I'm thinking of going this route as my leather boot has seen better days and the rubber boot is like-new.

thanks!

Chris

Hey Chris,

I've seen it done before, and it looks great. Put it on and driving.gif

I believe the rubber boot is larger diameter than the leather (-ette?) one for the center console, at least at its base. You may have to do a little modification to make it fit nicely.
