Just to check

red from power to the +

ground to -

sender to other terminal

tried to tachs and no work.

My tach has :

"+12" [blank] "1" "-"

The red/white wire goes to "+12", the black/purple signal wire goes to "1", and ground goes to "-".

Make sure the signal wire connects to the points connection on the coil--that's the "-" one on the coil!

yes thanks,

I tried the - lead from the coil, the tach out from the hyfire and the green signal wire from the dizzy and none of them worked with 2 different stock tachs.

Got a 10k autometer tach at FLAPS. Was the only tach they had and the damn thing worked straight away and fits in the stock dash opening PERFECT.

Its even black with white numerals and has a shift light. I got really lucky.

Excellent!

Let me know how it works. I'm thinking of replacing my "bouncey" OEM.

Which FLAPS, Brand & Price?

Good luck this weekend! smilie_pokal.gif
