What is the size and the part number of the optional five lug Fuchs wheels available on the '70, '71, and '72 914-6?

A buddy has a couple of five lug 14 x 5.5 Fuchs he is interested in selling. We think they may be 914-6 wheels.

Thanks

Eddie

They were the same wheels offered on the early 911E and other "comfort"-spec 911s.

Mr. PET says:

911.361.016.90

These wheels are part number 901.361.016.00.

I believe they are et46mm and were offered on 67-71 911T & 911E, and early '70 914-6.

Does that seem correct?

Are they common or rare?

Thanks,

Eddie

I also have heard that the 14" Fuchs are supposed to be used with tube type tires. I haven't had any problems with mine, but haven't used them since I switched to 15" wheels.

I know they are considered undesirable by some..
A lot of people upgrade to wider 15" and 16" rims.

I have generally paid about 50.00 each for them
depending on condition when I come across them.

I'd buy some for that price if they were straight and
not gouged up.

beats using them for hose hangers......

There were 2 sizes of Fuch's 5 star rims listed for a SIX by the factory as available as optional. . first is the one above in 5 1/2 x 14. . same as on 911T and E models. .
There was also a 5 1/2 x15 for the Six part number 901-361-012-04. . there is no 6 inch wide rim listed, but I thought they were standard on the GT's. .

The only other alloy rim ever offered for a 914-6, per the factory parts catalog, was the Mahle and they were also 5 1/2 x 15 and it was 901-361-17-00
