Can anyone tell me the measurement from firewall to the end of the clutch tube (the end closest to the engine). Many years ago I had the Floorpan replaced along with the area around the clutch tube. Today when finally installing the clutch cable I've noticed that the tube was welded in place incorrectly...

Maybe someone has a car on jackstands...with engine out and can take a quick measurement?

I have measured three for you and they all have from 1.5 to 1.75 inch stickout.
