Below are my dimensions for the rod journals

Main------- rod rod main rod rod main
59.76 49.86 49.68 59.68 49.72 49.71 59.69
59.81 49.84 50.81 59.68 49.78 49.71 59.70

59.70 49.70 49.77 59.78 49.83 49.82 59.74
59.70 49.69 49.73 59.66 49.72 49.71 59.66

What size bearings do I need? The condition of the journal seems really good and the previous owner though it was polished.

Thanks

If you are asking this question, this is something you should get a machinist to help you with.

Yes I will also be covering this with a local machine shop but I have never done busines with them before. I just want to be a knowledgable consumer.

Thanks

Your readings are not consistent so it's either that you're not measuring well or the crank needs to be ground.
The bearings come in 0.25mm increments on the crank side.
You also missed the case size measurement that is very important when choosing the bearings. On this measurement, the steps are STD or +0.5mm. The middle split bearing is the most abused.
rhodyguy
if the case has been or will need to be align bored you'll need the appropriate over size ones.

If you're not messing with the bore and just polishing the crankshaft, read the numbers off the old bearings and order the same ones.
