Well, as winter approachs I needed space to put up and work on my teener. I emptied my portable garage that has been my 914's home all summer. Then cleaned the attached garage, put all the bikes and stuff into the portable, and parked my 914 INSIDE.

I have not had a car in it in nearly 10 years!

Insurance is up on Nov 14th and up on jack stands it will go till ~ April.

Winter projects:
Drop and rebuild engine
Clutch - if needed
pull engine sound pad, paint engine compartment
replace rear bushings
Clean and repack CVs
new rear struts and springs
pull gas tank, install front swaybar
new ball joints
new front bushings
Check tie rods
Install rebuilt petal cluster and alum petal board
touch up any under chassie rust with por 15
Pull rockers, fix one jack support, longs are good, touch up any rust there too, repaint longs
Replace plastic fuel lines with SS through tunnel
Install OEM center console w guages

That should get me to March.

I'll post pictures as I go.

Nice winter list! If you do the front bushings with the basic weltmeister bushings...you need to cut grooves on the inside so you can pack some grease in there..otherwise it will squeek squeek squeek...don't ask me how I know!
