One of those connections on the bottom of my gas tank is getting a little "damp" where the metal tube protrudes through the nut fitting. According to the PET, there should be some gaskets in there. I've checked a vendor and they are supposedly NLA.

Anyone have suggestions on what to use for gaskets?

I have some gaskets that work if you dont find anything. Typically the connection is loose. Try and tighten the large nuts. You can use a crows foot to get into the access whole without removing the tank. Just remove the lower suspension cover and have at it.

I feel your pain. Had the same problem myself. I was fortunate to find a local shop that let me dig through some boxes to find a "fiber" washer to did the trick. Other suggestions I heard at the time were either copper or aluminum crush washers, but I had no luck finding the correct size.

good luck
