So, the car is running. Took it around the block and heard the unmistakable sound of metal on metal as I applied the brakes. No problem, or so I thought... replace brake pads.
And then came hell. The calipers are frozen. Can't move them at all. Well, at least I can't move the internal caliper at all. The adjustment screw is frozen too, so I can't release any pressure.
Anybody have extra rear calipers for a 74 lying around... or where should I buy them from?
While I'm replacing the calipers... what else should I replace?

I wish I could be laughing too!!! I'm just beside myself. It looks like this is going to be a $1000 brake job!!!!

Hey,
Thanks for the response. Unfortunately it was a little too late. I've made a deal with Eric. I'm now just waiting for the calipers to arrive so I can get them installed.
Thanks for your help anyway!
