As my wife's car gets closer to being ready for DE I need to get another set of wheels for track tires. Thinking Hankook or Kuhmo V710's 205/50x15, ran 2 seasons with Toyo's on my 911 and hated them. Trying to avoid going 5 lug. Do I just keep lurking for a set of 15x6 Panasports or something else?

Thanks.

You can have custom steel wheels made and delivered for about $125 each.

With proper backspace, you may be able to fit 8" rims without flares.

I've had four sets made. They are very nice.
Indestructible.

Perfect DE wheel.

I've been looking at those in 15x10. I've been wondering if I can fit a 275/35/15 A6 under the rear flares.

My 13x10's have tires that are the equivilent to 305's.

They fit under my flares.
It all about the backspacing.

Diamond will build them in 1/4 inch intervals.

Thanks buddy. I'm gonna start a different thread so I don't hijack this one.

What backspacing is needed to fit at 15x7 with a 205/50 under a stock fender car?
Trekkor
You will need to d a little measuring and test fitting to figure this out.

What wheel and tire do you currently have?
How close to the inner and outer fender well is the tire?
What is the back space of your current rim?

My 10" rims are set-up with a 4.75" backspace.

My orange RaceCar ran 15x7 custom steelies under stock fenders. Ran very wide 205x50 V710s. I believe they were 5" backspacing and I ran them with 1/2" spacers...in the rear and 3/4" spacers in the front.

Dan brings up a good point. Better to err on the side of more back spacing and use a spacer to fine tune. wink.gif

How heavy do these end up? Comparison to an aluminum wheel?
