After sitting for quite some time, they are fully bound up.
I had to pound them off the rotors
What's the deal?
I just need them to work for a day.
Also, I need to say this out loud, I don't care for the rear calipers at all.

My Hondas sized up too after sitting for a year. Probably rusty pistons.
Several threads on rebulds here. Not difficult
Although u might not like these they've been stopping 100,00's of sports cars for 45 years. Give 'em a little respect.
Some mechanical person will come by soon with stuck piston remedies.

late 90's vw Passat rear caliper.
yours may have frozen up due to water and pitting of the pistons.
remove the pistons, clean with super fine sand paper...re-assemble.
look at the vw calipers, they may easily fit, and have an ebrake.

Thanks for the idea with the VW caliper.
I'll look into that immediately.
I'll likely bolt on a pair of my 88 VW Fox front calipers for this Saturday only.
I already drilled out the mounting bolt holes.

Less than $25 each. No core.
