Lake Elmo, MN. 9140430924 isn't in the database... looks like it has sat quite awhile, too. Could be a bargain find if OG engine/trans, as the shell looks straight & dry. But now that it's been outed, expect plenty of bid activity regardless of the $35 sign up and 5% buyers fee. It's already up to $7800.

Original engine with Zenith carbs ? unlikely. 2.2 ? No air filter is scary if the car was stored outside. Inconclusive info on engine turning. Front cooler ? Flared rear fenders ? performance guy ? Looks like a stock muffler which is a good sign. No pictures of the important areas, and all the pictures in the world will never replace being there. Good gaps. Less molested than most dormant cars.
Roll the dice. All about the price and what it turns out to be once you own it.

Tires look like they were sitting flat for. Long time.

Except for the missing rear valance it looks all there.

I doubt it has seen too many Minnesota winters. If it was left outside I would be surprised. Midwest weather is hell on old german cars especially ones prone to rust. I bet it is a barn find. But chances are it could easily be mice infested. But to be honest it looks in pretty decent shape if it has been sitting for a long time.

Cool find! Check the Mad Max 1973 Nova as well... ugly but probably very fast in a straight line! 150hp nitrous shot!

Saw this one on bringatrailer...cool car for someone with money/time to restore it.

Holy crap. That went for 20K?!?!

I used to worry that all the money that I was going to put into my 6 resto would never be recovered. But that was 10 years ago. Now I don't worry about it so much!

Many 914 offered on the german market came from the states.

The yellow 914/6 on that German site is listed for the modest sum of 146,000 Euros ... that's about $193,000. Ya think it will be there for a while?
