I removed the air box, tubes, hoses, valves, cables, and controls for the fresh air and heater functions. Stuff must weigh over 40 pounds.
Does anyone make anything to cover and block the openings into the cabin?
- under the airbox and dash
- behind the speaker grills in the front of the longs
etc....

For the "tubes" behind the speaker grill, the top of a spray paint can / PB blaster fits perfectly. That plus an appropriately sized hose clamp will get you a pretty weathertight seal.
I'd make sure to block off the heat inlets at the firewall that lead into the longs...don't want salt/dirt/mud etc. to get in there and start (or accelerate) rusting away of the long.

Spray paint can works for all of the vents. Perfect fit, cheap, and then just use a hose clamp

How about the holes left from the footwell vents? Where the blower valves were

Beer cans cut into using the bottoms with clamps block openings to the cabin and other openings works well.......and gives you a good excuse to drink beer....
