Not sure this is going to work but that is kinda like this hole project. It started out as just laying a sheet of 6061 over the cowling. It's not completted yet as I need to pull it back down and go over the edges again and grain the hole thing and coat it with something.

Go over it with a Scotch Bright pad and a couple coats of clear Rustoleum. When's the next auto X? I'd love to see it run.

Yeah Mike, all the glass is gone.
Thanks Elliot, I have been using 400 wet as the metal has been worked during the fabing. Once I get it cleaned up I'm thinking about Sharkhide.
It took all of these and more. I bought a Shrinker and Strecher to get it to laydown without clamps.
