I'm installing a new heater cable to the flapper boxes. The length isn't matching up correctly. Does anyone know the proper lengths for left and right side. I remember Eric Shea had an issue with this but I couldn't find the post. thanks, mark

Mark,
Is any of the sides reaching ? One side is longer than the other , you may have them flipped

The left side is too long and it's my understanding the longer cable goes left. I know I can get under the car and measure. I was hoping someone had lengths already or could find Eric's thread. thanks

Thanks!

The driver's side is 38 inches.

The passenger side is 40 inches.

Mine came prebent wrong too!

Hope this helps.

My cable came with a 10" differential (brand new in the porsche wrapper). I bent it so the passenger side was 2" longer than the drivers and it fit perfectly. Thanks guys!
