Got refered to as a Parking lot car this weekend at the Auotcross. This was coming from a ZO6 vette running Super stock. I guess I will take that as a compliment as I was pretty damn close to his time.
This new (used) motor rocks. That 86b .500 lift 290 duration cam and 44IDF's never gave me a want for more power. Nor did it hint at having a limit to the RPM it would pull. Glanced quickly and saw the needle on the other side of 6.
Motor is balanced and has dual valve springs so I really wasn't worried.
Very technical Stadium parking lot course. Had a hard time figuring out which way to go. Had the car nearly nuetral although would push a little in one tight 180.
Hell of a day, getting closer to the pack time wise.
Drove it home 125 miles 85-90 MPH Top off and heater blasting.
