Welcome. Having said that...one post letting everyone know of your stuff is sufficient. I believe I've just looked at the THIRD identical post from you in two different areas...

The car looks good, but I think you are going to have trouble operating the headlights. These could have been easily removes in 5 minutes. Details, details, details. Makes you wonder whats under the paint when simple steps are skipped.

Since you keep repeating the same "grammatical error" I'm chiming in to help. When referencing someone (i.e. possession)...it is "their" not "there" (Hey Brody, its over there).

Just a thought: Is Brody/Poster one in the same? shades.gif
Porscharu73
I know what you mean about the lights I'm pretty sure they where stumped why the customer did it all also. ...as for the grammar predict a text is a bitch on new phones.......

brant
is it a spliced shell?

maroon and robin egg

Porscharu73
Its the green ones cut out for the hoses customer went with different hoses and clamps
Porscharu73
What do you mean by splice shell
Porscharu73
Cut out of from the back where hoses go pic from different car
brant
I've seen a lot of 914's over the years that were really 2 different chassis spliced together after a wreck.

it used to be a very common practice and was an easy way to replace a clip rather than repair a unit body on these cars.

so I was curious if this was one.
you can usually tell from the VIN in the front trunk and the chassis number in the rear trunk... (or the vin on the door opening too)
