I just love some descriptions of some 914's on Ebay. This listing says, "...very little rust, no really bad rot...."
Really: very little rust, no bad rot!!!!!!
"It’s a very worthwhile project."
You decide........
At least they were honest about the rust behind the driver's seat! When you can see grass, that is not good!
They even have the targa top on backwards for the pictures. I guess it has been in the trunk for years.

Good for parts, maybe, at that price. If I had a place to put it I'd consider it.

...not even enough solid metal to sell it as scrap.
Title???
Hmmm, 2nd thought, that luggage rack is worth $10 if the mounts aren't rusted through - re-chrome will only cost about $100;-P

This car has been for sale for at least a month and a half between Craigslist & EBay. The seller wants $600 for it. I don't think there is that much in usable parts on it.

These descriptions just crack me up. (Doesn't take much to humor me!)
"...just some surface rust here and there."
".....still in decent shape."

Well the plate on the gas tank looked nice id hate to see the rest of it. How did the inside get so bad did they leave the top off of it until they took pictures for ebay? That poor 914... I can't wait to get mine back on the streets.

The winning bid was $520!! I hope the person who bought this rust bucket is using it for parts only. I have no idea how much it would cost to make it a safe running car.

Did anyone notice how the targa top was off and just laying on top of the car? Probably couldn't get it back on when it was removed due to the sag. Wouldn't mind having that luggage rack though! It's probably worth $520 in parts..no way could it go back on the road...
