My speedo has recently received a rebuild from NHS and I plan to install it today. When inspecting the speedo angle drive for proper function how can it be tested while in the car?

does it leak? if not, it is good. if it does you can rebuild it which is a Royal PITA or buy a rebuilt and re-engineered one from McMark, here.
