Hi im new to the 914 world and I was wondering if you guys could explain to me where the location of the fuel pump is on a 1972 914 1.7. Any help would be great. Thank you!

Stock location is up in the right-front corner of the engine bay, under the engine shelf. You can get to it from underneath the car, not really from above.

A popular modification is to move it under the fuel tank, to the compartment where the steering rack lives.
