This is my, almost completed auto-x/street car. It's a '75 California car, retrostyled and switched to Webers. Plastic bushings, stiff springs, Bilsteins, sway bars, stiffened, KH header, lightened. It should come in right around 2k pounds. Dave

Excellent, looks even better in the big picures.

I have one of those passenger foot boards I'm getting installed...first time I've seen one in a car!

Those tall stacks on the Webers are sweet!

Nathan- I couldn't find anyone selling the passenger side floorboard, so I made this one, to look like the driver's side. sawzall-smiley.gif smash.gif

I ended up making these doorpanels, too, from locally available materials. They look kind of "GT-esque" beerchug.gif

What's the advantage of the taller stacks on the carbs? Very nice car.

More low end torque at the expense of high rpm HP.

Generally, low end torque is much more useful for a dedicated AX car.

Nice. Are the floorboards and engine bay primed gray or is that the final color? I like the contrast from the body color. Like the black bumpers too.

The bumpers are F/G, so I had to paint them some color. I really like the black, too. The grey is the finish color. It brightens up the engine room, and looks all business, in the interior. I am very happy with how the car turned out, but still have to shake it down, this spring.
