I ordered one of the messed up hats. Put it on, and it looked way too goofy -- even for garage wear. A pocketknife and 30 seconds later and I had a really nice looking hat.

I can't tell what you did. Well, obviously you cut out the 914world.com section. Close up of the bill?
Nice thinking. I was imagining you took a sharpie to it when I saw the title of your thread.

I just carefully cut the tag off. The trick is to not cut the threads that the tag is held in with (I accidentally hit a few). Now I just need to cut off the stray threads and I should be good to go.

Thats too funny. I did the same thing. I used a razor blade though. I guess us 914 guys are always looking to modify things.

You guys just don't realize you have ruined the collectable value of these fabulous hats

I like it better off centered, being an artist I would of designed it that way.

I trimmed mine off, too.
I think it's an excellent price.

You mean you don't have beer on tap at your house?
