I know many will find this sacrilegious, but I built a trike out of a '73 914. It is electric propulsion and the added weight of the battery pack has me looking into air shocks as an inexpensive means of lifting it a bit. Does anyone know if there are air shocks available that would fit? Or... any other ideas?
Thanks

PS: The donor car was in terrible shape, so it wasn't really that much of a waste.Click to view attachment

I actually think that is an awesome use for a wrecked/rusted old 914 that has been stripped of all things useful. Better than the crusher.

GVW is about 1200lb, about 550 of that is battery and motor placed within 1 ft of the rear shocks. It is 96volt and should be capable of 80mph and 60 mile cruise range at 50 to 60 mph.

I'd bet Air Ride Technologies has some.
