The power just went out then came back on short after. Now my mac won't fire up. It's a 1 gig G4. I push the piece of crap button and it lights up, but only as long as I push and no fan, hd, etc... no matter how long I hold it in.

Is there a reset button somewhere?

I'm dead in the water on a project without the damn thing smash.gif

Power surges hurt Windows computers too.

They just don't stop crashing long enough for any to notice. :finger2:

I've got both, PC is actually more stable...well less finicky at least. I prefer the PC, but some things are done on the mac. headbang.gif

There should be a small white button on the motherboard somewhere. Push it. It's the PRAM reset button. Maybe it'll help. Don't forget to ground yourself.
