Anybody know the OD of the tube? Thanks.

I believe its 12mm. When I did mine I got 12 mm OD, 9 mm ID, 1.5 mm Wall from McMaster-Carr.

McMaster part number 89955 K74 -4130 Alloy Steel.
.438 OD, .065 wall thickness.
