I've read references to the 5 minute floor jack method for changing the circlip position on the bottom perch of a Bilstein. I'd like to drop the back an inch but I don't want to remove the whole setup again.

B has stated it takes him 5 minutes. Where do you position the floorjack and do you have to block the perch?

Please educate me.... smash.gif

Thanks,

Seems to me, the floorjack would be to jack up the car and set on jack stands. With the wheels off the ground just push up on the lower perch. Then pry the clip out of its groove and move to the next groove down. This wouldn't work with stock springs though, because they would still be under compression at full droop.
