It's a single point, mechanical advance. A type 010. It Fits most VW engines, and is still being sold through Jegs, Summit, Etc.. It Was a take off from a 1.7l 914 engine if I recall. Had it for years sitting on a shelf. I've never ran it, so it's sold as is.
