The battery like heavy wire that is part of the wire loom for the double relay, is that negative or positive?

Black , see picture . The heavy gauge wire.
The L-Jet ignition harness has a wire coming out of that connector that goes to the battery but usually its red. Not sure why yours is black. It goes to the positive terminal.
