I need to upgrade my suspension on my '73 and I don't know . Hell, I don't even know Jack! My 76 has Bilstein's and they seem to do the job but how the Hell would I know? This '73 has KYB's so any Boge, Koni or Bilstein is going to outperform and outlast the KYB's. BTW, what is "coil over"?
The '73 has the factory rear sway bar and all of the front end has new ball joint's/bushings/tie rods, yadi, yadi. However, she is gaining some weight with the radiator, a/c and Suby Six mod's. This car will not be a track car but might seen shitting an occasional Honda. I'm particularly interested in those who might have dealt with this exact scenario but all input is greatly appreciated.
Thirdly, whom would you recommend? I prefer dealing with member vendors whenever possible.

EDIT: I forgot to ask about springs. Which ones?

This is a coil over system from elephant racing. They will modify the Bilstein for a hefty price but I'm planning on doing it and have sourced the struts already. Could cost well over 3000 just to source, modify and purchase the correct springs but when your done, it is a much more manageable suspension and you can eliminate the torsion bars.

A coil over is an extreme waste of money unless you are doing "serious" road racing... that's what.

I'd say Bilsteins and go with 140 springs in the rear. Have a 19mm adjustable bar up front and dial in what you need for neutral handling. Street performance would = stock rubber bushings. Keep stock torsion bars up front and work with the 140's and the 19mm bar to fine tune your handling.
