I wanna know what the big Captian's wheel is for???
All they need is an engine and an anchor.
edit: Scott beat me to it.... Reactor stuff huh!!!... sell it to the Iranians for their nuclear program... lets see that should set them back... 50 years! (Was that political?)

I guess the steering wheels are for cruising the net.

I started with Fortan in the early seventies, punch cards were a big pain in the ass. So were the paper tapes when everyone went to Basic. They made great confetti, throw a bag on someones lawn and they'd never get it out.

Teethed on Fortran. Was a punchcard and reel to reel bunny for years before they would let me touch the keyboard. After that I was hooked.

Sadly, you're absolutely right - it's a photochop - that is a set of cold-war era reactor controls (almost certainly from a photo taken of the same set in the smithsonian), and a teletype, and a console TV...
