Not sure I am looking at this correctly.

I understand that the Lever just closes a ground to the heater motor relay.

Is this the wiring?

If so, I would assume it grounds through the plate and the spade goes to the green/White in the tunnel.

Now The light

If this is the correct wiring, it indicates that the light switches the motor? Does that mean if the lamp blows, the ciruit is broken to the motor? Do I have these wiring diagrams reversed? It also shows a green and ground. Do I jump from the spade on the lever to the light then ground?

Edit: I now see this diagram is the motor itself.

Here is the light. And I do have a Black/Blue

I will try this - and let you all know.

This is a February Build 1973.

The light is tied to the instrument lights. It doesn't have anything to do with the operation of the blower.

Thanks Dave,

I thought it went on when the lever was pulled. I think I shorted it out though and for $35.00 I dont think I am going to put another in.

Found the thread on trouble shooting the blower and that was so helpful.

I wish I had a way to test relays out of the car.
