I guess I know, in theory, what these things are... but does anyone have before/after pics of these mods on a /4 or /6 case?

Fantastic post Rusty! I'd like to know also. I've never seen this work or fully iderstand what it is. I'll be watching this thread for sure.

Isn't that the same as "knife edged"?
Shuffle pins are just that, pins in the case halves to stop them from "shuffling" or moving back and forth.

You knife-edge a crank, but you boat-tail a case.

If you dig thru BA's book, all you seek is there....+
a few tricks that you left out ( eyebrowing the cyls & knife edging the crank).
