I still have some of the bits laying around, if you want more photos or the parts, let me know
Thanks for the offer, but I think I will keep it a little simplier.
Not simple, but maybe someone could take it on.
I never liked the Idea of cutting holes in good back pads. Although, I guess a speaker inclosure like mine could be made to bolt to the back pad.
You would still need to cut large holes for the magnets.
You would have to lay-up a flange by covering your back pad with something like tin foil, to protect it.
Lay-up the flange where the speaker would mount to contour of the vinyl.
After cutting a hole in your inclosure and flange for your magnet, your speaker inclosure would bond to the flange lay-up. Bondo a fillet between the flange and inclosure, trim the flange lay-up maybe 1/2"" bigger than the fillet shape and drill mounting holes in the flange. Cover with thin felt and bolt to your back pad.
If you can get me 35 hrs in a day, I would do it for you.
