Hooray...

I'm crossing my fingers and hoping to get in
I think I may skip coronado island for this one

the more teeners the better
I've invited another teener also

Woody
I'd go up to watch, not to run.

I've got my finger on the trigger....hoping to get in.
Registration opens tonight for racing and on 4/1 for HPDE?
stuttgart46
I don't think I can be ready by then but I am planning on heading up to watch.
ned911
PCA was limited to 275 racers and 120 DE. 600 seems like a ton of cars but I filled out the pre-reg.

I got in!
Having my car freshened up for the trip.
Going to be fun, and fast.

Did you get in?

the SVRA event won't officially open registration until July-ish
they only had pre-registration to get a rough head count
so I won't know if I got in or not until July

I did get a hotel reservation though

Just realized we are talking about two different events. I'm headed to Austin tomorrow for the PCA COTA event. We have 11 cars from Oregon on three trucks arriving Austin tomorrow.

I received notification from svra yesterday. They have 550 aplicants. My car was accepted. They are mailing the official aplications. I want to see the event size and costs. Have fun tomorrow!

unless lotto comes through... I think I'm out for the COTA event
it looks like the registration is between $1,000 and $1550 depending on opting into the enduro or not... another 500-700 for the pre-race open track day (depending on training options that day)

add lodging, fuel, the tow and new tires it quickly become a 4 - 5K event

ouch

And from what I've seen if you have an incedent you will have to pay to repair it. Such as spilling oil or going into the gravel. I wont even mention what it would cost to repair their barriers.
