Hoping there are some "Dodge Boys" around here beer.gif I have "The Beaver" 1976 motorhome with a 440. The carb is a Thermoquad. I wanted to adjust the idles (has 2 idle screws) and found them to be coroded. One broke free and the other broke. I drilled it hoping to EZ out it but the EZ out broke too. I need to find another carb (and there are alot out there).

My question is do I need to put back the exact same carb?

The one I have is;

Model Application Pri. Sec. Rod Bore

9150 78 440 Truck HD AT CA (4095441) 4099 5125 2110 1-1/2 3

I found a 9151, all other numbers were the same however the one I have is a Calif. Carb.

It seems if I had something close to the bore & primaries that it'd work.

Anybody know for sure?

thanks

It should work as long as the bores are the same. You can always switch to a Holley or an Edlebrock with use of an adapter plate if your intake is a spreadbore.
