They'll fit any year, but you'll need to drill additional holes to mount them. They were typically available in Europe, not the USA.

I have a black one....I might be selling it if i can't get away to put it on my car. It doesn't fit the holes of the 1.7 and the 914. I might adhere magnetic strips to the back and attach it. Tobin

They were starting to become scarce two years ago. Not sure if the ones SMC is selling are OEM or repros
