Why not just clamp the work together with vice grips, drill a 3/16 hole and use your mig welder to fill the hole? It seems like you could buy a cheap pair of vice grips, weld two "U" pieces on like they have in the catalog. Or don't they have "yankee enginuity" in the LSS? happy11.gif poke.gif

Rosette gives a different weld.
Spot welding takes a lot less time.

I take it back. Now that I have seen theadd, its not actuallya spot welder.

The spot weld nozzle would be nice to have. But check with Eastwood to make sure that it will thread onto your brand of welder. My local welding supply shop said that it would not fit on my Lincoln.

I plan on buying one. Hey it's only $35 I'll let you know how it works out welder.gif

Now that's "Teener Spirit". Sounds familiar......K Cobain Award coming. I seriously would like to hear you impression once you've tried it. I'm up for anything that improves the appearance of my welds. dry.gif

Most of the welds on my car look like lap welds. You can't get those special vice grips on both sides. Harbor Freight also sells vice grips that look similar to the Eastwood vice grips in that kit.
