Ok, I did a search for exhaust leak, and a bunch of stuff came up. Under this search is a thread titled " Exhaust stud repair-HeliCoil install, motor in car " by master of jack stands, Herr Mueller. It is in a restricted area called "Recycle Bin" I am going to do this exact same thing tommorow and would loive to read the thread. Can you 1)copy and paste it in a PM to me, 2) Grant access to read the thread, 3)Post it in the calssics area...? Thanks, Chris

Chris, i deleted it from the main forum after it was brought to my attention that the method I described was not the best/safest way to install new studs.

I'm pretty sure it's been covered better than how I wrote about it
