Saw a silver 914 in Sausalito this past Friday while we were there for lunch. Anyone on here own that one? We're out here in San fran for vacation. Fun to see another teener once in a while. I don't see any back home.

We did see that little car leaving town about the same time as us. Must have just been passing thru..

Most of them are nowhere near that. I used to life there for years, on two different houseboats.

Nope, mostly (human) leftovers from the 60s and 70s. Back then it was basically a floating homeless shelter full of starving artists and strung out drug users.

In fact, up until the mid 90s, there weren't really many nice houseboats out there at all.

One of the boats i used to live on, a *huge* old ferry boat with enough space for 4 full sized apartments, was originally bought for $500 and towed there.
That's hardly seven figures.

Funny how neighborhoods can change over time.
