Can someone shed some light on how to remove the front bumper and valance?
I was hopping it would be as easy as the rear one. All I was able to find was the 4 fog grill screws and 2 bolt/nuts on the corner of the valance. Ive tried searching for it but no luck.

Thanks in advance

I would think that the "fog light grills" coment means he has an early bumper!?

There are four bolts you're missing near the spare tire (inside the trunk) to remove the valence.

The bumper bolts are accessed from the wheel area. There are two M8 (13mm wrench) bolts on either side under the turn signal bucket.

Well that explains it, bumpers are on backwards. Switch'em.

Doesn't really matter. You can't tell which end is the front and which is the back on a 914 anyway.
