I rebuilt all of my lock cylinders recently. I took apart the ignition switch and subsequently lost the two little pins that hold the base to the ignition tumbler section. If you've taken apart the mid year ignition lock cylinder, you know what two pins I'm talking about. I'm not sure that the early 70-72) have them and I'm pretty sure the late cars don't have them either.

Let me know if you've got these pieces lying around. If necessary ill buy the entire lock cylinder assembly, but really only need these two little pins.

Go get a box of little finishing nails in the size you need Cut off what you need. They will work fine.
